Ok, so there has been some talk on here about the inserts I've been making. I've sold to every state, but Texas leads the way by far. Might as well put them up here so you all don't have to track them down thru other sites.

Works to reduce powder overthrows when using extruded powders like Varget and makes for uniform charge weights. The insert reduces the diameter of the discharge to from .310 to .245. Available in brass or aluminum, no difference in function between the two materials. $12.00 ea and $10 for each additional insert. Price includes shipping. Pm for details.

I've sold hundreds of these and guys love them.

*Measure your discharge tube- If you have an older Chargemaster, it may have a smaller tube inside diameter in the .265 range. Make a note of this so I can spin one down to fit. 99% are in the .310+ range but its best to measure to be sure. The best way to measure is lock your calipers at .310 and see if they fit. If not, lock them at .308 and check, and so on. Find the smallest number that will fit and give me that. Another way to check is see if a .308 cal bullet will fit in the tube. All inserts are a few thousands undersized for a universal fit and you will add just a small piece of scotch tape or plumbers tape to the OD of the insert for a slip/snug fit in your discharge tube.

This insert also works in other electronic dispensers such as the Lyman and Hornady units.

The video is 43g Varget.

Now comes with additional small sleeve for even more accuracy for an extra $4

Downside is it slows the toss down about 10 seconds over the normal insert (42g H4350). Guys are having very excellent results with these. They idea is to give the option of choking down small for when you want to be as precise as possible and aren't worried about the extra time.

Here is a review of the insert with small sleeve from a guy on the Hide that has a nice scale...

"Poor man's prometheus. I picked up two of the new sleeve reducers from MDM12 and all I can say is wow. My current setup is 2 chargemasters and a fx120i with omega trickler. My first ten charges with new sleeves all within 0.02 of target charge. After 100 charges and checking against fx120i, I've only had to use trickler a couple times. I've yet to have one go over."

Got one of these awhile back for my hornady autocharge, works great. Varget and H4350 over charges significantly reduced.

I PMed the O.P. on the Hide asking for measurements so I could turn my own on my lathe. He happily gave me the measurements and I made one for myself amd for a friend. The Chargemaster used to overthrow half of the charges, after the insert it might overthrow 1%. It is a necessary item for anyone with a Chargemaster and the price is a bargain!

Thanks Dom!

"I just bought the new micro reducing insert which arrived yesterday. All I can say is wow, home run. I dropped 100 charges of 41.8g H4350 for my .260rem and not a single overage. Every drop was dead on 41.8g. Before installing the new micro reducing insert I would get an overage of .1-.3 every 8-10 drops. Now not a single one after dropping 100 charges in a row. Very happy with this new micro insert for large kernel powders!"

These work great! I especially like the additional insert when using powder that flows easily.
