This guy has been coming for a bit to one of my feeders. He made his last trip tonight. He was a little bigger than I expected based on the camera pics, a decent sized boar. I estimated around 150-175lbs, but could be off on that as it was just based on my effort to drag him out of the feeder pen and not by measuring anything.

Single shot to cns with 5.56 soft point did him in from short range, was sitting in s bow blind, so around 15 yards. Aimed a little high to compensate for the range. Could have poached two deer as well, they just stood there and watched the massacre.

cheers you have your feeder ancored down? Been years ago, hogs rooted up around one of the legs & tipped my feeder over... Ended up running an old cable from tree ta tree & hung feeder in middle... See were several run rebar or t-post in ground & tie it ta legs... flag
