What is a good price for the 30 round metal ones and who is a good source. I have several magpul composite, but I don't think they seat well.

PSA is a good source & be sure to watch their "Sales". Xmas specials going on now. I recently bought 6 all steel 30's for about $7.00 each & so far so good! They sell in multi-packs also. http://www.ammosc.com/ ASC(Ammunition Storage Components) is supposed to make some of the best steel mags.

I use them for my 6.8, they work great. I just ordered three 5.56 mags because I ordered some 77 TMKs and the ASC mags let me load out to 2.3 COL.

Interesting that you don't like the magpuls. Most consider them the best mags available. They just don't seat well. Takes a big slap to get them to catch. Other than that they work fine. It's an old rifle and it likes metal.
