Got together this morning with some great friends from Lubbock and hunted several places north and west of Plainview . It was a tough day with very few roosters seen. Daniel and I were the only ones to connect on birds . Quail were a different story . Robert and I hit a few of my spots south of Olton and had a good shoot. Be back at it in the morning .

If we have another wet year I just might have to make the journey up to Kress.
Have not hunted there since 2010.

2010 was the last time I had hunted up at Edmonson until this year. Saw lots of birds on the southern end of the county when I was mule deer hunting. Numbers are pretty slim on my northern grounds. The quail got me going though . Can't wait to get my GSP pup going for next year.
