I'm a rookie night hunter and seriously considered this product, so take this comment for what it's worth... The issue I see is it having such a large screen lighting up either your face and/or the inside of your blind/stand. I'm pretty certain a single hog I was watching at 100 yds. last week with my X-Sight, was spooked just by the red glow from my UNV20 and X-Sight IR Illuminator. (Imagine a pair of glowing red eyeballs looking at you at night. smile ) That big screen certainly is going to increase the problem as you will also need to run an IR Illuminator(s). I do see the ability to attach to a day scope as an advantage, put it does come with the disadvantage noted above.

They have introduced the small screen that clips on to your glasses reducing the problem with the screen illumination, but that adds another $350 I think it was, so now you're over $1,000. I would spend those same $ on a actual IR Scope or down-payment on a Thermal.
