So I've been away from the gun collecting for A LONG time, but decided it's time to get back after it. I went to the local gun shop and put on order a CMMG in 300 BLK. Suppose to be in tomorrow and looking forward to my first AR.
Are there any must have's? It's open sights, so will be getting a scope.

Sounds like a fun gun...
I would look for a vortex "strike eagle" 1-6 scope...
then you get the must haves for black out.... A SUPRESSOR!
Sombody smells like fried borritos...

Burris MTAC 1-4, ammo , good trigger, and mags.
The secret to a long life is to try not to shorten it.

A suppressor is a definite must-have for a 300 blackout.
It is far more important to be able to hit the target than it is to haggle over who makes a weapon or who pulls a trigger.

My cmmg would shoot better than I could easily clover leaf at 100 yards. One of the few guns I regret selling.
