Anyone have any black bear outfitter recommendations? Prefer a baited stand hunt with a very high opportunity rate. If you have personal experience with an outfitter that would be great. Thanks in advance for the help.

Nothing wrong with bait, but in my opinion it's not much of a hunt. I've killed 3 bears out of 3 years in Colorado. This year Larry is a 100% opportunity on bears. Give him a call- 719-680-3350, and tell him Ray sent you. The tags are draw, and easy to draw. Meals, lodging, guide, and care of animal will all be included in the hunt. Use Ray for the $3,000 price...

How about a boat based black bear hunt with high success rate. Spot and stalk, no bait. Homer Ocean out of Homer, AK

I hunted wnith hosted hunts with an outfitter that hunts about 1 hour north of winnepeg. The hunting was fantastic and I got a 6 foot bear and another hunter got a a p&y bear. 5 of the 6 people got a bear. The one hunter who did not get one passed on plenty of bear but was holding out for a monster. Pm me and I will send you the contact info.

Dean can show you some bears. I saw at least one bear on every hunt, baited.
The lodge is about 45 minutes or so from most of the hunting areas.

I used PR Guides out of Bathurst New Brunswick Canada. Harvested a very nice Black as well as the other 5 hunters all got theirs also. Saw lots bears. Lodging was great as well as the food he served. Had such a good time I'm driving up end of next week for a Moose hunt the following week.

I went to Prince of Wales island. Self guided hunt, fall hunt, stayed at a fantastic cabin with incredible food. I'll be putting my sons in for the draw and if they get drawn we'll be doing it again. There are a bunch of bears there, got a Sitka blacktail to go along with my black bear and caught some salmon also. I loved it. Did it all including getting the bear turned into a rug for right around $3200. Pm me if you want details.
