Anyone ever hunted Balcones canyonlands? I'm Huntin there this weekend. Unit 7. Looking for any info. Thanks

I hunted 7D the first season a few weeks ago. 7 is 3600 acres and the roads are rough! I got a flat from a rock going through the tread and discovered my spare was flat... Don't make the same mistake!
It's a very tough hunt and we only saw one deer. It was buck that came up to my blind at 40 yards. He had 4 on one side and was broken off on the other side which technically made him a spike but in the 3 seconds he gave me I didn't shoot... On the check-in/check-out sheet only one spike was killed on 7.

I've hunted Balcones since the mid 90s. Unit 7 & 8 are two of my least favorite due to the comment above. It's almost too much land to scout in one day. People drive around alot too.
