All I know is that any load/dope anyone gives you is only going to be good for their rifle, not yours.

What speed are you running the 110 AB, and what is your desired increments (moa, mils, IPHY, etc)? Are you wanting load data and/or drop data?

I have yet to load any of the 110 AB's....Just really looking for the most preferred powder.
The rest of it I can work out. I have some H1000 and IMR4831 on the shelf. I'm wanting something around 3300fps to 3400fps.

Don't shoot that bullet, but use reloader 22.

I'd try the H1000 first.

That was the first powder I tried in the 257 Roy and is still the only powder I have used in it. Never saw a need to change.

I get very good groups with IMR7828 (72 grains) and 100 grain Barnes TSX with a COL of 3.150". I was going to try the 110 Accubonds but I could never find them in stock. I would think H1000 and IMR7828 would both be good to try.

shot a BIG buck this year @ 90 yards, bullet expanded great, no exit wound, dropped dead in his tracks.
ALSO shot a red stag, one shot at 125 yards, he went 25 yards and dropped.
We all have our favorite bullets and different results.

Oh! by the way I would think .257 weatherby with a 1/3 more powder is much more powerful than a Roberts!!

Muzzle velocity of Plus P Roberts is 3000 fps. I do not think that the Weatherby velocity is 4000 fps, no matter how much powder is in the case.

I use 70.5gr of IMR-7828 with 110 Accubonds and Fed 215M primers in mine. Shoots like a laser.

3400 to 3000 is a big difference...

Case capacity 54vs 86

62% more powder to give you a 12% velocity increase is not a good R.O.I. in my opinion. In BOTH cases (Roberts vs Weatherby) we are getting pass thru results. Exactly what good is a bullet that is traveling faster doing, AFTER it exits the other side of the animal???

Nothing if it's a pencil, a lot if depending on bullet design,

As far as the trade off still a different animal.

He said 1/3 more POWDER, not 1/3 more velocity...
