About to load some sub 308. Have a goodly stash of Trail Boss. My question is it better to use magnum primer, drill out flash hole or just leave it alone and us LRP ?

F210's (large rifle) and just usual brass prep works fine. Leave the flash hole alone.
You probably already know all of this, but sharing for others.
Start high and work down in 0.2 gr increments. It is different than all other load work up. The goal is to have the highest load that is just below the sound barrier threshold. Make sure the bullets clear the barrel and are not keyholing. Old school round nose flat base bullets work well.
