So we have a javelina bow only hunt scheduled with Mike. First I have NOTHING to do as far as outfitting, guiding etc with Mike. I simply reached out to him a while back for a javi hunt and he took us on.

The hunt will be near Van Horn Texas on 18,000 acre ranch. I have a few guys locally already interested but need more if we take the cabin and food deal. info from our outfitter. This is one of the best deals I have had for a Javi hunt
10 people with lodging 400 each. With brunch/dinner 500 each. If with food that includes dinner Friday through brunch Sunday. The 400 cost with lodging also covers expenses for myself and one of my guys to be out there too since normally my self Guided hunts are just a trespass fee deal.
BBQ dinner both nights. If I can swing it some steaks. Brunch we can do eggs, biscuits, or pancakes. You won't starve- I like

Depending on dates I could be in with my son.

This will be a fun hunt guys, just outside of town.
Depending on when booked we can add quail for a fee and maybe make it interesting and have a target competition
for a free day of quail hunting or something along those lines.

Lots of coyotes on this place too. Nice lodge with 5 bedrooms- set up to sleep 6 comfortably right now, will set up
a cot- air mattress- etc to make the remaining fit. Will have lots of room.

7mag (Roy) is a lot fun too share a Hunting Camp with.......I wish it was a rifle hunt! Also Roy makes a heck of brisket!!!!!!

Come on Roy you don't have to book a guide javi hunt! You work for OPD...ya'll just herd them into yards in town and harvest them!

The ranch is 18,000 acres flat terrain 3,000 acres of the ranch is agriculture with ponds at each crop circle. There
are water troughs located throughout the ranch and about a dozen feeders although for this hunt we will corn roads for best
results and around some of our more active feeders. There are miles of good to decent roads on the ranch.

You will need to bring your pop up blind or set up spot and stalk or I don't mind if you make a brush blind. There are several big
draws that run through the ranch that hold some sort of water year round.

Best hunting will be baiting roads and sitting over a few feeders that we regularly see them at.
