Anyone have any recommendations for a good set of waterfowl gloves that wont break the bank?
I honestly have never worn gloves until this weekend. I guess I'm just getting older. Have always just warmed my hands on boat motor after picking up deeks. Wore gloves and they immediately soaked through. Not even that cold outside yet. Hands burn from the cold.
I've seen the $150 a pair waterproof sitka stuff. I'll deal with frost bite before I pay that kind of monies

I'll pull them off for gun handling. Just hunting for something warm, and waterproof for setting up and putting down.
I've never played golf. Would imagine they are not built to keep warm

I would love to find a pair of waterproof gloves with a fold-back mitten flap. Those Sitka gloves are close, but that $150 price tag really is crazy.

I've been using this rag wool gloves for many seasons. My hands stay warm even when the rag wool gets wet. http://www.orvis.com/p/mens-barbour-fingerless-gloves/373q
Yeah, don't listen to me. I'm just an idiot.
Lol. Duckbill that was funny! The dude up top has already taken lots of bone before this deer, both mule and whitetail.

Cabelas brown ragwool fingerless gloves down to about 30 degrees. Full fingered from 30 to about 10. Full fingered with a thinsulate Palm below that.
I'm not all that prone to cold hands. I run fingerless about 99% of the time.
Wool insulated when wet.

If I use gloves, I use some neoprene to set/pickup decoys. Not a fan of gloves while hunting but the under armor liners are the best I've used.

I have a pair of the Sitka Pantanal gloves, which have apparently been replaced by an updated version. The pair I have were $100 and worth every last penny. I too was skeptical at first, but once I bit the bullet, I never looked back.

Nitrile shop gloves from Autozone. Black or white colors 100 for $16. If they're not thick enough, use 2 pair, or 3, or....
I use them under my camo gloves. When I need to get wet, I pull them of and put them back on when I'm done. And in the off chance I get my camo gloves wet, the Nitrile gloves are waterproof and still work well to keep your hands comfortable under wet outer gloves.

I just got a pair of these and they work great! Kept hands warm and dry while hunting and picking up decoys this past rainy weekend. Cept when the water would run down my jacket and into the glove. Not a good shooting glove but very warm and dry

The best gloves I have found are the Academy Game Winner Neoprene Decoy gloves. In Texas they work as well as anything else I have found and they are under $25. The are 100% waterproof, the only issue with that is after several days your hands will sweat and keep them moist. But for the price you can buy a 2nd pair. The are cuff are too tight to wear over your duck jacket but you can cut them off and they work great to keep a seal around your wrist. I cut the tip of the glove off the index finger and thumb and I shoot with them on no problem and you have no issues with loading your gun with the tip cut off.
