I would guess photoshopped. The deer is too far behind the fence and is above the fence quite a bit. Doesn't look right to me.

I watched a buck struggle for 20 minutes to jump a regular fence yesterday. He would walk away and run up to it but was hesitant to jump on about the 15th time he jumped it.

It's got to be PS. Each square on the fence panel in 6 inches. A grown deer has a chest height of roughly 16-20 inches from belly to backbone. Looking at the fence panels compared to this deer, it's make his chest roughly 12 inches. Doesn't look right to me

Look at the metal post on the wooden post. The metal post is holding up the "deer".

At the water plant I worked they used to leave the main gate opened all night (this is west of 35) and deer would come in to munch on the grass. When workers started showing up in the morning the deer would get real spooked so we would try to ease them out. All I can say is, one morning I saw two bucks try 4 to 5 times to clear the fence(8 ft chain link with barb wire on top)if I hadn't been there to see it. On the next try the one buck went over, when the second seen him go over, yep next try he went over. Cleared the fence, both of em.

Think about it...If a human can high jump over 7ft wouldnt you think a deer could jump 8? Ive seen them roll over an 8ft fence and Ive seen them clear it by a ft. It all depends on what and why hes going there. They dont go around just jumping high fences but can and will if he wants over it.

That's its 5th leg...the source of its supreme leaping ability.

Picture was on FB and the comments pointed out that the deer in this picture is a metal silhouette attached to the metal pole sticking into the deer's chest like a weather vane. What caught my attention first was how did they get this picture? If it was real, it would take all of a second. No way to shine the flashlight on it and get a picture of it at just the right time.

I've seen a few clear a HF and I've seen a few come up short. Cool picture either way

Usually the back legs on a whitetail jumping are extended. Pictures looks a little odd, but what do I know.

My guess is it's a sculpture someone placed on their hf property. It is clearly a fake deer being supported from underneath by something from that post.

Edit: typed the same Time as someone showed the other pics above....clearly a sculpture
