Met up with a bud that moved here last year for his first coastal hunt. Been trying to figure this area out for the last year and a half, and I feel like I'm starting to get a finger on it. Anyone can get a limit of reds every day down here, but from what I've found, it takes a little time, effort and patience to fill a strap and Tuesday we came as close as I've come so far. Ended up with 4 reds, 3 scaup & 3 buffies. All birds were shot with their feet down. Winged a buffie and scaup so we decided to call it a day at 10 birds. And in case you guys are wondering, if you have to use a canoe, you can fit 5 dozen dekes in a medium jet sled and pull it behind the canoe. Worked great And we were able to have a decent spread with about 11 dozen dekes.
