A few years ago these little green and yellow parrot looking birds showed up. They're cool to look at for a few minutes but they're loud and we quickly realized the eat all the corn! We're in Atascosa county. Anyone else seen these things?? What exactly are they and where'd they come from??

I used to see green parrots all the time in Dallas. They would nest in the towers of the electrical power lines. I believe they came up from Mexico. Those damn Mexican pirates! Always a parrot on their shoulder.

Never seen them but have heard about them. They're in the country illegally. The good news is they should be headed south instead of north
