Ok so i have already tanned the hide and the fur looks great! BUT It is not soft at all. It will bend but is stiff and ruff not something i can lay on the couch yet... HOW can i soften the hide up and keep it soft??

Sounds like whomever did it for you didn't oil the hide after tanning. Probably did a wet tan then skipped the oil step. Call and ask whomever did it for you and asked how it was tanned, either they will be willing to help you out or post back and the THF will help ya out cheers

I called him and He Did not oil it. I live to far away now to make the drive to him worth it. What can i do to soften it? scratch
