Any recommendations for up here in North Texas. Will be introducing the gun and would like to kill a few birds for them. They're fetching machines already on thrown dead birds. Just need a place close to Sanger to work them.

Go see Walter in poetry. Poetry shooting club. Good guy. I have bought birds from him and guided at his place. And started my pigeon coop from him too. He gets my recommendation.
Haven't had it in years but never spit any out. I am a sucker for happy endings and strapped cowboys.

Bobby, I understand the Spaniel club of North Texas trains frequently at the grasslands in Decatur. You may want to connect with them. http://www.ntssc.org/about.html

If you are willing to drive a little I have the place and birds, I have been thinking about a cocker to flush behind my britts. Love to see yours work. By the way I am in Atoka.

There is a dog training area at the Grasslands by Decatur. I haven't been in years, so check with the office for rules.

I'm training the dogs at Poetry Shooting Club. Next time you're out here I'd like to see your dogs work their birds. A man in Missouri who has Springers got me into Woodcock hunting and since then I enjoy watching spaniel do their thing.

Just letting them be pups and retrieve. Male will hunt dead until he finds what I threw without him seeing it. Female is 2 months younger and will retrieve what she sees me throw.
