I have my decoys in camp with me in case I want to take a break from Deer hunting for one hunt. Just depends on what I see the birds are doing while I am deer hunting. Two weeks ago in Young county there were lots of Cranes moving back and forth over our lease and hitting a neighbor's wheat field.

The dog and I had three on the ground, over decoys, and were packing up by 8:10 this a.m..

Impressive amounts of Cranes about. Drove by one flock on plowed ground over half a mile long.

Llano estecado.

I love it.
