After 5 long days I took this mulie on the last day, glassed 5 bucks at over a mile and the hike was on. Shot at 300 yds with .300wby mag, huskema 5x20x50 scope, my wife stuck by me for all 5 days of the hunt which included some snow. Saw alot of Elk as well and a pack of 10 wolves.

I hunted 16c for many years for Elk. Didn't see a lot of Mule deer but when I saw a buck he was usually a good one. Saw one that I would have traded my Elk tag for, lots of points and lots of mass. What unit were you hunting?

I hunted 16A, they way the mule deer tags work you can hunt all of 16, they guide i hunted with us Gila and Apache outfitters, the bucks are hard to find we rode 30mins into the national forest on 4 wheelers to a large burn which is where we saw some bucks, they shoot some 180+ youve just really got to glass to find them.
