We are proud to bring to market our line of Curtis Custom bottom metal.

Our detachable bottom metal shares the same footprint as the M5, accepts AI and AW mags, is made of 6061 Aircraft grade aluminum, is hard coat anodized, has an ambidextrous release latch, and comes with machined pillars that are finished "long" to accommodate different receiver styles. Grade 5 screws are included.

At the moment the only version in stock is the short action... However, long action is in production... And coming soon will be our proprietary Lapua and 408 bottom metal and mags.

Short action bottom metal can be viewed and purchased from our website,

www.curtiscustom.com

Available within the next month will be our 3 round magazines. These mags will fit our bottom metal, and any detachable bottom metal designed to utilize the AI/AW mags. They will give the user the versatility of using a magazine that is flush with the bottom of the stock while in a hunting environment. They are also made with aircraft grade aluminum, and hard coat anodized as well.

To answers everyone's next question... Our "VECTOR" actions are in production and we hopefully will be taking pre orders soon. We are not only coming out with our "VECTOR" line of actions, but also a completely different line as well... The "AXIOM" will be our second line of receivers geared more towards the shooter that is looking for a custom action without all the bells and whistles.

The "AXIOM" will feature:

Remington footprint
416 SS
3 lug bolt
M16 extractor
Side bolt release
Recoil lug included (not integrated)
20moa rail included (not integrated)
Smooth bolt/no flutes

And all at a price around $750!

Same quality as the "VECTOR" just without the integration and face lifts... and at a more affordable price.

We will be updating the site with our mags and actions as they become available. Bottom metal is in stock now.

Beautiful work, and some wonderful ideas.

Ever since your original action announcement I've been devising a plan for an "extra large" chambered bolt action. banana

Just checked out your website and was looking at the Vector action. Looks like a fine piece of gear!

One of the bullet points says "Fire control system tuned by Greg Tannel." My question---is there an included trigger mechanism which is not illustrated?

The action is designed to work with any R700 based trigger.
We worked closely with Greg Tannel with respect to spring weight, firing pin weight and dwell and lock time.
