Guys/Gals I had a Springfield Armory 5" 1911 Range Officer 45acp parkerized stolen out of my truck. It was in a black Milt Sparks VMii concealed holster. It had 2 Cobra Tripp magazines with it. I did have the serial #'s and a Police report was filed. It was stolen in the Rogers/Heidenheimer, Tx area on night of 11/15-11/16. Also stolen was a Fluke 87-5 Multimeter in a black and yellow Fluke bag. I will attach pictures as well. Please help me find the person who did this. $500 reward if an arrest is made.

Thanks for the info. I was not aware of this. I hope it did not have to be activated. Will call and check on this.

sorry to hear of this. people who steal anything are the lowest of the low, and should be beaten then imprisoned, but they'd probably enjoy being gang raped in the shower

I wasn't aware of it either and back 5-6 years ago when I made the claim it didn't have to be "activated" or anything. They sent me the paperwork (2 pages) and I had to send them.... 1. completed paperwork 2. copy of police report 3. copy of insurance paperwork stating that firearms were not covered (didn't hit homeowners deductible level) Had $1,000 check in my hand in 2 weeks......didn't make me whole again but $1,000 is better than nothing.

It's ready to be picked up from what I'm told. Sheriff could not go into detail yet but that gun was the least of the guys problems is what the Investigator said.

Maybe on the volt meter. When I told investigators he said he would check again. He said there were lots of stuff in the stolen vehicle.

Glad you are going to get it back...that just doesn't happen often enough!
I have an RO like yours and I'd sure hate to lose it.

I have an 88-VI and know what they cost. I could buy a cheap 1911 plus several hundred store bought rounds for the price.
Glad a nice 1911 will come home, let's all hope the Fluke does too.
Pass the gravy.
