Chomping at the bit to learn knife making but until I retire from my regular job I'm just going to stick to Leatherwork. Took 4 welts to get this knife to ride correctly, hope the guy enjoys it.

It looks good, and don't get me wrong but I think a thicker leather would be better. What thickness are you using?

If you get into knife work and leather you can pretty well kiss the retirement income adios. Sanding belts can break you. I have found that the expensive ones are a bargain.

Oh well I have to have my retirement income. Guess I'm not making knives at least not in the traditional ways.
