Redding T 7 is what I use for all my single stage work.

This'll be my first setup, don't want to over complicate with a progressive but something I can load a little faster with once I've learned the ropes.

The T7 is a good one, the Lyman T-Mag is another good one. Not sure which is better.

I would look at the forester co ax or hornady if you wanted a quick change single stage

I use a rock chucker with the hornady qui k change bushing system. Not as good as a turret but it does what I need.

I have a T7 a Forster and a Rockchucker.
I like them all but I must say I have grown very fond of the T7 turret which is my most recent purchase and would get my recommendation

Skip the turret press and get a Forster Co-Ax press. I went from an RCBS turret to a Co-Ax and life is way better!

The turret only holds six dies. So, for me not crimping, that means it holds dies for three rifles. Trouble is I load for .223, .22-250, .243, 6.5 Creedmoor, 7mm-08, .308, 7 Rem Mag, and .300 Win Mag. That totals to 16 dies. I can go from sizing .22-250 to seating 7 Rem Mag, to decapping .243 by just slipping one die out and putting the next one in in three seconds. Universal shell holder means I don't have to switch that out either. It has been a game changer for me.

I like the T-7 also. One thing I don't like is when you change heads, the little ball bearing on the spring for the indent, will get away pretty quick for me.

I have an older Rockchucker and a Lee Classic Turret. I love the Lee for pistol and 556 and lately I have been loading a lot of .243, 308 and 3006 on it. I pull the index rod and use it like a single stage when loading rifle ammo. I love the fact that I have a turret ready for nearly everything I load. In a matter of seconds I can switch calibers . The Rockchucker has been retired to primer pocket swaging. Give the Lee Classic Turret a look.

I had a Lee press as well. I made a lot of ammo with it that would shoot one hole groups.
Don't NEED to spend more to make good ammo.
I started with this setup:

Thanks ccoker, I'm beginning to question if I currently shoot enough to concern myself with a turret press, although I'd like to load quantities in 223. But I know I'll probably shoot quite a bit more once I start reloading. I like the idea of a kit because it seems it gives me everything I'll need to get started. It's a little overwhelming trying to piece together and read all the reviews.

Lee Classic Turret kit is great but chunk the stupid safety scale, it's junk. It'll never stop swinging. If you shoot .223 a turret will be welcome. I don't need one but I'm glad it's there.

Pass the gravy.

Lee Classic Turret for me. Load 10,000 to 12,500 rounds a year on it across 27 different cartridges.

I have the Lee Classic Turret...used a single stage for years.

The Classic Turret is awesome...makes reloading a lot faster and easier. I load for 5 rifle cartridges and 3 handgun cartridges, about to add a 4th handgun round. I keep the dies in the separate turrets and swap out as needed.
