Howdy,

My names ryan. I just moved to Houston within the year, and have yet to meet any hunting buddies. I got the Texas public hunting permit, and SHNF isn't a far drive, I just didn't have any time to scout preseason, and I will admit I could use some help. If anybody that regularly hunts in the area wouldn't mind possibly going out with me and helping me out, that'd be awesome!

I live in houston as well. SHNF is not bad but super crowded there are better places to go within 2 hours. PM me if you do not mind paying a little I know a place that is within 1.5 hours for hogs and there is a 3 per man limit for 200.00 and he has tons of hogs.. No Kill no pay. I fyou do not get all 3 in one trip he will le tyou come back to finish off your quota at no extra charge.

I dont mind paying a little, but ive got a good place to hog hunt if I really want a hog for meat. I have a buddy with a ranch that does hog hunts in a 50 acre "hog pen" that is quick and easy. Im more interrested in stalking and feeling the actual hunt rather than sitting in a blind with a feeder that has the hogs coming by like clockwork.
