I'm free boys! I'll send pics this afternoon.

Martin Towing got me out. $250 seems like bargain at this point

Now, back up and get a good running start and try again.

Ask the wrecker guy to wait though.

Been in basically the exact same pickle before. 2WD Silverado (I know) on a road that I didn't realize would be in such bad shape. Came in that morning fine, got sideways trying to get out and went into the ditch. Tried putting tree limbs under the tires, but one tire spun on them and blew out. Three hours later we got out with a 6-wheel tractor. Fortunately during the downtime we had a couple of pistols to blow off steam. Currently shopping for a Tacoma TRD.

You know there is a closer way to get where you are going right? I'll PM you the road. It is much better! Hunted that area for years with my grandpa. That pond is where we trained our dogs too.

$800 for the tow and $200 on the quarters at the car wash getting that mud off......

Zach - Glad you got out okay with nothing broken. Happens to the best of us when we have the duck hunting bug and trying to get to a place you should never be.

Guy up at the house is a good man, keep in mind there is a construction company around the way and they have mobile equipment that could save the day.

Ouch....hope youre ready for that bill...

See if you can find a solid tree limb about 3-4 inches in diameter and cut (2) 3-4 ft sections of it. Strap them to the tires horizontally with the long end sticking out and try to slowly crawl yourself out. Ive done this a few times at my deer lease and it got my truck out easily.

The sticks on tire tip has been filed in my memory bank!

First off... You guys are a bunch of lake namers! Who said I was even hunting?

Second off... thanks for all the offers to help and advice. I really appreciate it and hope to offer the same if I ever get the chance.

When I thought there was still a little hope.

When I realized I would have to tell my boss I would be in the office at 2.

Best view of the day...

Yep, we got to spend some quality time together today. Good guy, and I'll stop in and say hi to him next time I'm out that way.

If I saw this earlier I would've come helped. Now everybody knows why all my trucks have a winch.

Now go buy a winch. Put a front receiver and get cables so you can move it to the rear receiver when needed. $500 will go a long ways to being able to free yourself.

If nothing else get a come along and about 200 feet of heavy duty (10 to 12 mm) static rope. I never go anywhere without it. They are slower but cheaper than a winch but work great. Gotten myself out of a number stick situations!
