Finally made it back to Nebraska for some duck hunting with the boys. I guess it's going to be an annual thing now on.

What area were you hunting. I was in the rainwater basin a few weeks ago and it was warm with little action.

I can't take credit for the pics. One buddy shot the photos, the other buddy acted as a guide to get us Texas boys into some birds. We hunted until noon and saw 500+ birds. Yea, yea, we should have limited out.. But we were having a good time just watching the birds work as much as shooting. Plus I shot much first Speckle Belly, so I was good with that.

Note to self. Walking 400 yards through knee high water marsh with bunch of dekes, marsh chairs, and guns sucks!. Next time, a marsh sled or floating layout blind is the ticket!

@ Erichugh22 - My buddy shoots a 5D mk II 70-200 2.8 is and 2x adapter mk III. (If you know what that is....I don't...)
@ BigHenFx4 - We were west of Lincoln wink The day we hunted was pretty warm too. It got up to 68.

We even got into a few quail on the way back into town.
