Thanks for the info. I was not aware of this. I hope it did not have to be activated. Will call and check on this.
I wasn't aware of it either and back 5-6 years ago when I made the claim it didn't have to be "activated" or anything.
They sent me the paperwork (2 pages) and I had to send them....
1. completed paperwork
2. copy of police report
3. copy of insurance paperwork stating that firearms were not covered (didn't hit homeowners deductible level)
Had $1,000 check in my hand in 2 weeks......didn't make me whole again but $1,000 is better than nothing.
