Someone told me today that it looks like I made a terrible shot LOL. I just want to clarify the deer was turned and about to walk into some thick stuff so I had to take a sharp quartering away shot. Bullet entered behind ribs and came out by opposite shoulder. Destroyed liver and both lungs and no gut shot at all. If that deer had been broadside and I hit him there id deserve to be kicked in the nuts.

Just heard back from the biologist the field dressed weight on this buck was 115 which was less than I expected but prob about average for a 4 1/2 yr old deer around here a week into the rut.

Sapper and I met up yesterday and got to take "Ole Blades" to his final destination at the Taxi... Again Sap, Great Job and love the Character and Symmetric's of that Buck Amigo... That Buck is going to look Great on the Wall Sir
