Wanting to get my wood duck mounted, it's in the freezer. Never had anything done b4. Looking for suggestions on who does a good job near denton tx

I would take it to the fallen feathers guy on here in Sherman, his work looks really good and it's reasonably priced. I've personally taken birds to Tony Foster located in Lucas and was happy with it all 4 times. DO NOT take it to the place on 380 in Denton, can't remember what it's called but it's a white building that also does meat processing. Shot a goldeneye 2 seasons ago and it looked like they stuffed a football and put a celery neck on it .. for $325.

Pat at Avian Arts. Best in the state and he's just 30 minutes from you.
Esh: That really hurts hearing about your goldeneye. I've seen just one in N Texas over the past decade. I know the outfit you're talking about...fortunately I never considered them for taxidermy.

Ya live ya learn, got that goldeneye and a couple nice cans the last 2 years but no woodie like perv's. Have seen a lot this year though hope to knock one out too.
