You can put cattle panel around your feeder to keep the hogs out.
You can kill the hogs, but shooting 1 or 2 at a time wouldn't get them all quickly enough.
You can also set up a large pen style hog trap and catch several at once.
But to get the deer only to the feeder, the fence will work quickest.

Admitting ya have hog problems is the first step ta solving it... The second step is asking for help... have gun will travel ... i couldn't help it, some times my mind wonders... Hogs are a 24-7-365 hunt... Ya can let the deer get a few more years on em, here i could take 4 a year since 2010, if every one did that, it would have went right back ta one deer county, no doe permits... i've been concentrated on hogs, keeps the deer no. up, still puts on the land owners want the hogs gone, i enjoy the pics of deer on the cams.. Deer here been moving at night... Keep the pressure on the hogs ... Best wishes...

A strong fence is the best solution. However, if you decide to shoot them, I'd be happy to help.

I'd like to fence it in but don't have enough time to do it this season. Anyone have any luck with those red or green feeder lights?

I use green led motion sensor lights under our feeders for guests that don't have night vision. They work good as long as the scope is half way decent and you can see the reticle.

I enjoy pics like that year round vs deer hunting , we usually could kill a few hogs and they would leave it alone for a few days. During the few days we saw deer coming back to feeder. Then start over !

looks like the pigs are coming around every time the feeder goes off. You need to get 3 or 4 of your friends and stake it out one day. Every one shoot on "3"!! As you say, you try and do it alone, problem will never go away. Then there is always some good old Tannerite!!!

If you can drive a t-post in that dirt it is quick work to throw up a feeder pen if you have a helper or 2. Minimum of 8 hog panels, and a few t-posts per panel. You can wire it together, but wire rope clips (u-bolt looking things) on the overlaps make it much stronger. I penned about half of my feeders and it works great. Still have hog hunting at the un-penned feeders, and the deer quickly came back in to the pens.

I wish I had that problem. I hunted this weekend and all I saw were a ton of deer around the feeders and none of them were legal. Finally 1 loan bore showed up as it got dark and I popped him.

In 2012 I had a family group come in for months and camp out at the feeder, put up cattle panels and try to pressure them off the area. When they are sleeping under your feeder they are camped out.
