Can't drop a bomb like that without giving the story up. You have pic's??

To be sure of hitting the target, shoot first and call whatever you hit the target.

Not really anything new since there have reports of sightings down south for a while. From what I hear they are impossible to keep in any fence. I would treat them like any wild hog and rifle

It would be cool to get a warthog in Texas.

Here is a video of a "feral" kangaroo in Oklahoma. NOTE - BAD LANGUAGE

Didn't get to see any when I was at the Chap last year but saw the damage they cause.

Glad they got him.

Thanks for sharing the post Flip. I'll admit I'd love to shoot one. Baker

They will make us happy to have feral hogs if we get a population of warthogs in Texas.

To be determined

I don't know a ton about either species, but that was kind of my thought.

As I posted on the Public hunting forum, I love hunting them in Africa but don't really think they belong here. Yes, there isn't a fence made that they can't go under. Maybe a solid concrete wall, but they'd just go down until they were under the footing. All that said, they are grazers and don't really do any damage to the environment other than their holes. Drive a truck into on tho, and you are looking at some seriously broken suspension parts! Find a water hole and be on the lookout from 1000 until 1400, and they will usually come in. Love to roll in the mud and take a soak. I know that Jack Brittingham has them on his Rancho Encantado place next to the Chaparral and he likes them. Talking with him, he doesn't see any issue with having them in South Texas.

Driving around filling feeders before season. It was mid afternoon, I'd had a few beers, and I had my rifle. I turned into the road leading to a feeder and there he stood, and there I stopped. I through the door open and rested the gun on the door. Looking through my scope I was confused as to what I was seeing. I had to wait until it moved to be sure it was in fact a kangaroo. With no way of taking picture at almost 200 yards, I decided the only way people in camp would believe me was to shoot it. So I did. Those little suckers are heavy. And they taste like roadkill. Long back straps but barf

No! they wont cross. They have no ability to conserve body heat so they can't go very far north.
