I'm sure its in the contract somewhere. Did you read it, or just sign? Handshake agreement?

I've never been on a guided hunt that expected payment in full regardless of if you killed or not that did not collect the balance of money the moment that I arrived. But as, denton, said. what was in the contract.

What was the agreement before you booked the hunt? These are your words-"then are asked to pay the remaining $1500 the full hunt price which you’re under the impression you would pay that if you draw blood." Sounds to me like it was not discussed in full before the hunt. That is really bad on his part and even worse on your part for assuming. Have a friend call to book a hunt and ask all the questions including the part about the rest of the money if no shot is taken. Only knowing one side of this makes it difficult to answer. If they always do there hunts that way and did not tell you then it is on them. If they did not ask you for the rest of the money when you arrived then I would think you would not pay the rest until you pulled the trigger.
