I did meet a full grown African Lioness in a buddy's back yard once long ago in Houston. Not caged, she was a pet. I met her, talked to her, rubbed her good, fed her a whole chicken and turned and walked away.

She tackled me from behind with her big old paws (thankfully declawed) over my shoulders. Somehow it did not scare me. She liked me and wanted to play. So we played. It don't take long to get wore out playing with a lioness.

Wow, I guess that was a little bit dumb as I read it but it sure made a memory.
