There is a button on the forward reverse lever that when depressed allows you to throttle up without going into forward gear. It was stuck and would not come back out. Not that big of a deal but whatever is wrong also screwed up the nuetral safety position. The motor would start of in reverse. So had I got the button to pop out, I probably still would not have gone knowing something is bad wrong in there.

You need to put a godevil on there, all that fancy reverse stuff is just more stuff to go wrong.

Karma! That will teach you not to jack with the THF migratory section by making posts about sinking your boat.
That said, I am certainly looking forward to hearing about your first hunt out of that beast.
Yeah, don't listen to me. I'm just an idiot.
Lol. Duckbill that was funny! The dude up top has already taken lots of bone before this deer, both mule and whitetail.

A little bird told me the jump was jumping Saturday! Not cuz of me.. we don't hunt it until after the split.. the people on the North side of the bay have been hunting recently though... herd them in there a few times last year for the first season in a good while... fine with me.. those birds will stack up on our side and make for good second split

Not a bad stack at all. I like it when yall are busting caps. 5 minutes later they show up at my place We joked about it last year. We would hear boom boom boom. Without saying a word we put the coffee down and picked up the guns.

Without saying a word we put the coffee down and picked up the guns. That's the perfect hunt location right there-- the refuge closest to a well hunted X. I'd drink coffee and whittle on a duck head or take a nap until I heard the neighbor signal me they were comin' over!

I forgot to respond to this thread. I guess the boat shop was far behind. They just finished fixing Ducktoon. It took a while but I didn't need it, so I didn't raise a fuss. I picked it Friday. I like what they did. At first I was thrown off a little but it grew on me. They installed a side mount universal set of controls. Below the old control's location was an open access port in the console, allowing a mechanic to get to the controls and cables. It was a small port and really left a lot to be desired so far as access. They added the new one to the outside and ran the cables up to the new one through that access port. The wires and cables are all right there, exposed, underneath the new control box. They are no longer under the console at all. It was odd at first but the more I thought about it, the more I liked it. Now if a problem occurs, I have complete access to the wires and the controls. Easy access is a good thing. I am hoping to get it out on the water shooting birds next week.
