Sound off guys! What have you been seeing and what are your expectations for this season?

We're hunting Collingsworth county. Where is everyone else hunting?

Dickens County. We have great bucks on camera and the conditions are the best I've seen in 8 years. Looking forward to an awesome season for both Mulie and Whitetail. cheers

Foard County conditions are great, might make visibility tougher. Saw a bit of pre-rut activity last week, which seems early. All the browse and moisture could mean an early rut.

Paducah county target buck to be 160"+ got a good number of 140-150's on camera, most feed I have seen this year in many years. Try and get my son one of the big 145"+ 8's from last year that we couldnt connect on. Should be a good year.

Pitchfork Predator, I actually joined the same lease you did when you first got on at the Pitchfork. That place is amazing and I have no doubt you guys will do great this year!

Looks like we're neighbors. Mature buck sightings have been few and far between but I'm sure colder weather and hot ladies will change that soon. I have seen a couple of 160's taken during bow season at the taxi in the Sportsman store, so looks to be a good year for bone. One was a typical 14pt (7x7) that was pretty darn cool. Good luck!

Hemphill Co next week for me. I've seen more fawns, and more cover, than I've seen in the area for years. Are the bucks becoming interested at all yet?

I have no idea what's been going on in Hall. No cameras up, so we'll be going in blind. Can't say that I'm too disappointed.

You are back in Collingsworth? Good luck. I don't bother until Thanksgiving.

I'm in Wheeler County and I up to my eyeballs in does and young bucks. Saw about 30-40 last night bow hunting. You're right about thanksgiving! It's like someone hit the buck switch and every year I seem to have lots of mature bucks running through around that week. deer2

We need to get together and visit. We are W and SW of town. Out towards the old Rolla community.

We're hunting SW of Quail. I have no idea where that is in relation to the old Rolla community.

We are NW of Quail. Does, fawn and little bucks on the cameras. Nothing to get your adrenalin going yet.

Just south of Clarendon. Only big bucks last year were during the rut. This year plenty already there, only out at night though.

I didn't get to go last weekend after my grandson got hurt in his football game but plan to leave out in the morning and stay all next week or until my grandson gets a buck.
I'm hearing that the big boys are finally getting on their feet up there.

Yesterday evening in Collingsworth seen 3 mature deer on patrol the last 10mins of daylight. Lots of deer movement with the 3yr olds dogging the ladies. Today was a bit slower with no mature deer seen and only the young boys on the prowl. It's starting to happen. Looking forward to some cold weather.
