There was a table at the Lewisville gun show this past weekend that had a lot of bulk pack .22. Want to say they were at $30-$50 a box. Didn't look like they were doing any business to speak of.

We're starting to get into the 6 to 7 cents a round for bulk and 8 cents a round for boxed 50-100 packs. I suspect that's pretty much the new standard price.

Every couple of weeks, I see 1,000 round bulk packs of Winchester M22 for $50. at Walmart. The same boxes you see people pushing online for $100.

No .22 at Walmart here for weeks at all, months in any amount, YEARS since it was common.

333's are really not bulk although they are thrown in one box loose.

It's $0.14 per round online after shipping and $0.12 per round at local shows at the very least.

It's $0.10 per round at any store it can be found on the shelf (once every six weeks) up here other than the dealer in Whitesboro that charges $15 for 100 CCI (that last time I checked, don't know any more, don't go there any more for 54356 reasons).

It's regional.

Times are strange when you can reload 9mm cheaper than buying 22rimfire.... Kinda like the fact that bottled water cost more than gasoline

There's a group of idiots still cleaning out the stores in Lubbock on a regular basis. They're going to choke really hard one of these days.

I have 5 kids 11 grandkids, so I've always had a good stock of .22lr. When the panic hit, there was no need for them to stop shooting with Grandpa. We are still shooting stuff bought at 2 or 3 cents/round.

Same with shotgun, handgun and rifle ammo. For 25 years, I've been in the habit of buying a box or a few whenever I go to the store. Same with food and basic supplies, always buy just a little more than you used up.
Makes it easier for me to afford and find what I want at a decent price. No need for panic buying or hording, a few boxes really adds up over a year. Stored in an air conditioned home, ammo will likely live longer than I will.

I see it as a hedge against inflation, panics and potential new taxation - which I believe is coming.

my grandkids aren't quite old enough to start shooting yet but they will just have to suffer thru having to shoot AR's with sub sonic 300 Black-out with a Thunderbeast Suppressor as their plinking adventures begin.

Rick, if you meant me - I can assure you that you are way off base... LOL
I make this comment because nobody else mentioned putting up ammo and the guy with 15K rounds of .22lr is one 20" tool box full. Not sure how greed fits in.......

I'm getting emails from several wholesale warehouses about .22 ammo in stock.
YET, it's still .07-.10 a round plus freight, and that's not standard or sub-sonic ammo.
Well, now I know why you have some.
WOW, looked at the ad!
