You are very fortunate, most aren't

You can deer hunt without a feeder or a stand, it's not really a big deal if something breaks.

What frustrates me the most is that the oil company came in last week to frac the well they drilled 6 months ago!!! Why the heck didnt they frac back when they drilled it!!! The oil well is near two peoples blinds and the road to the well ruined 3 more blinds!!! Hopefully they will be out of there soon!!!

And my solar panels on two of our feeders died a month ago and so now our feeder batteries are dead!!!

That's the way I've done it for 20 years. I feed about 5,000 lbs a month and do it all by hand, go out 2 times a week.

We had the oil company at the ranch doing their seismic survey the FIRST 2 WEEKS of season 2 years ago bang . HUGE swaths cut through the mesquite fields, vehicles and personnel everywhere. Nightmare. That whole season was pretty much a write off. The whole thing was no-notice, too. realmad

What frustrates me the most is not having a place to be on Openers. I understand y'all's frustrations, though. Can't say I have the same, as the one place we used to hunt was lost, first because some minor bad blood 'tween us and the LO and now because he passed on.

confused2 I guess when you take the money part out of the equation, frustration is just another part of hunting: another way to test your patience.

Work appointments and other obligations kept me out of the field on paper, with the rain I wouldn't have gone anyway

City people that come out to my neck of the woods driving 80 and running me off the county road. Thinking that they own the place.
