Who's gonna reach for the 222 over the 6.5 first? I bet this brings back some memories for some of you mature fellas. I won't lie, I perked up when I heard him say that too. Pretty cool. I'd definitely opt for the heavy barrel for all of the calipers offered because the extra weight doesn't bug me.
Ironically the ranch I hunted this weekend has probably had 300 deer killed off it with a 222. Infact an 87year old made me carry off all his dead pigs this weekend..lol. Old rancher don't play.

I'm sure he means 300 deer in the lifetime of the ranch, not all in one weekend.
I recall a 222 and 222 Swift. Not sure if they were the same caliber. Only seen the rifles, never shot one.
It is far more important to be able to hit the target than it is to haggle over who makes a weapon or who pulls a trigger.

hey everyone,
just got home from shot show. what a crazy week.
the 6.5 grendel mini was a huge hit and got a ton of attention. there were even a few from the board that came and said hi at the booth. one thing i can tell you is, if you are thinking about ordering one you better do so now. the first shipment is already almost spoken for. we only get in a few hundred of these at a time. PLACE YOUR ORDERS NOW!
yes, we are the only ones who make the stocks for these but after a few conversations we had with a few different stock manufacturers this will change soon. there will be aftermarket options available but i do not know when. Your FFL can order direct from Legacy Sports International who is the importer for Howa here.
