Where are all the brown county hunters at? I'll be hunting off 2492 and have some good bucks going to feeders. Good luck to everyone opening day. Feel free to post pics of target bucks/kills, and where you will be hunting. I love seeing what's going on around the county! Good luck and hunt safe!

We hunt outside of Rising Star which is very close to the Brown Co. line. We've been seeing beaucoups of deer, mostly doe & small bucks with tons of pigs on the cams. They're eating everything the feeders are throwing! I was at the lease last Saturday and it's still very wet; depends on the rain today if it will be muddy this weekend. Doesn't look to rainy right now though.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, beer in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming.

I hunt Mills county. We've been seeing a good number of deer. Got a 13 point during bow season. Still have a couple bucks coming to the feeders as well.

Lease located on CC114 in Brown County. Does and fawn in excellent condition. Lot of does with 2 fawns. Some very nice bucks are coming in to the feeders. With all this rain probably will be a wet & muddy Opening Day. Replace original tires on Ranger as they were well wore down. 4-wheel drive is no good with slick tires.

My lease is off of CR292 in Early,Tx. I am overloaded with does. Seen a few bucks that are shooters but so far have been nocturnal.

I am deciding to shoot a deer that my dad and I have been looking at for the past 2 years. I would love to bow hunt the buck, but there's no way to get a bow stand over to that hunting area. He would be a really nice bow kill. We hunt right in brown county, right by a part of the Jim Ned creek.

Shot a 300# boar. Saw a big 6 pt., passed. Lots of doe though. Buddy shot a tall spike & a doe. Still hitting our feeders hard.

Have not been since opening weekend. Saw a bunch of does and smaller scrub bucks. No shooters yet. Does anyone know the rut status in Brown? I am going friday.

I just got on a lease in brown county west of brownwood lake on county rd 105 between fm1850 and fm2492. What can I expect on quality of deer. It was a last min lease only have had my stand and feeder up for about 1 month. Seen a few deer lots of turkeys and pigs. Any feed back will be helpful.
