When I shot competition I shot at least 1500 arrows every week; never wore out an arrow.

Have to replace several every year. You know, the ones that I shoot through the animal and hit a rock and it splinters. Well maybe a miss here or there. The ones that I bury up in a pig and he runs like hell and he's never seen again. The ones where the pig dies but his dying act of defiance is to break the arrow.
I replace those.

I'm really lucky at the ranch on both of my bow blinds it's only sand and grass, I might lose an arrow or have an animal run off with one. I've hunted places that almost all pass through arrows ended up in a tree or splintered on a rock.
