I know this question gets asked a lot but I am heading to my lease in the morning. Close to the Abilen area. I need to change my feeder times. What is everyone setting them at since the time change?

Thanks in advance!

If you hunt a feeder set it 30 minutes before it gets light. Be in stand at least 1 hour before that. If not your gunna be running bucks off.

What time are the bucks showing up currently on the TC pics? On mine I had them at about 6:20 10 days ago. Now I have them at 6:30 in the morning and 5:15 in the evenings. The bucks are their up till around 5:30 or so then come back right before it goes off again at 6:30. They are there off and on all night long also. I also use a road feeder everytime I hunt and put out corn before I get into the blind. Makes a huge difference on the amount of deer I see.

6:15 and 4:30 If mine were to go of 1 hour before daylight all the corn would be gone before shooting time. Should have set it to go off again around 6:50

6 40 am and 4 45 pm, in a couple of weeks I will set the morning to 6 50 am and December will be at 7 am. This has the timer going off just after daylight.

Clocks remain on DST. I'll move back the am and move forward the pm feed times by a few minutes for the next month. Then start feeding later AM and earlier PM as the days get shorter. Hope that makes sense.

6:45am and 4:00pm. I will change the morning time to 7am in about 3 weeks due to shorter days

How many seconds is enough, bearing in mind different feeders will perform differently.

For my 12 volt timers, 3-4 seconds. For my 6 volt timers, 7 seconds. But I also road corn.

I set my timers for 6:45am and 4:45pm and move the morning time as the days get shorter as I want to be in the stand for a while before the feeder goes off. I run my timer for 8 - 10 seconds with the spinner pretty tight to the funnel so it will broadcast the corn away from feeder better. I also use tailgate feeder to corn shooting lanes.

Whenever the wind blow good and drops more acorns of the trees. Never have to worry about my feeder not going off or malfunctioning!

We set all of ours at 7 and 4. Normally see deer show up about 7:15 to 9 so I don't want them there at 6:30 and leaving when sun comes up. I will throw corn out too each time I go the stand so that keeps a lot more deer around.
