We had bucks chasing about 3 weeks ago in Hardin county.

Dozer, mulched, and trackhoe work. Fencelines, senderos, tanks. Let me know if I can help with any dirtwork or construction.

Hunting in magnolia would be better in a gated community.

Archery hunters farther North where I am in Smith County have said they are seeing bucks chasing does. Since the big rain last week, I can't even find any fresh deer tracks, but there are tons of acorns everywhere!!! My guess is that they are pigging out and wont be moving much until the acorns sour

My place is in Anderson County and I saw one decent buck chasing two does last weekend and more of my larger deer on camera than I have had in the last month. I also had deer (bucks and does) in my food plots in the middle of the day - one really good buck about noon on Sunday.

I saw a few bucks cruising today looking for a hot doe. However, most of the doe I've seen have still been grouped up.

I live in SW Smith County. Yesterday afternoon, I watched a chase between an 8-pt and a solitary doe behind the house for about 5 minutes. Both doe and buck were sucking wind with their mouths open, and the doe was carrying her tail in that characteristic horizontal position that usually indicates an imminent breeding.
