I have an encore with a 7-08 barrel and a 209x50 muzzle loader. It's lite weight and quick and easy to handle. I got mine by means of collecting a debt. It's a good rifle but I would just as soon have an H&R for the price of each barrel on the encore. The encore is definitely smother but I wouldn't say any more accurate. If I was buying I would buy another Tikka for the same $$.

I have a love hate with mine in 25-06. One day I'm shooting 1/2 next day 2". It's not the gun it's me.
Love the size with a 26" barrel. It's a good bit shorter then my 257wby Remington. The encore is a gun you have to get use to. The lock time is a lot longer then a bolt action.
It's my go to favorite truck gun though. I even thought about getting a 20" 6.5 creedmoor barrel.

They tend to shoot good and kick hard. I prefer a bolt action, as the fun of all the barrels wears off quickly.
The secret to a long life is to try not to shorten it.
