I just don't understand. If you're going to build a blind, why build a blind 50 yards away from a big shoreline of huge mangroves that could hide 100 hunters.

Tdk, I don't know for sure he's a guide. I'm assuming he is, since he dropped 2 different sets of people off at different blinds. But I didbt see advertising on his boat. Probably a smart move on his part, if he's gonna act like a fool

I'm amazed how many blinds there are in the areas we fish, I can't imagine anybody thinking they own one. Same as my buddy elk hunting with a guide on public ground, saw some other hunters and the guides were gonna go "have words" with them.......or get mad because somebody else camped in "their meadow".....heck some of the coves/shorelines at Port A have duck blinds 50 yds apart

Nothing as bad as you described but I was in a Jon boat on public water and a man in a bass boat trimmed his motor up and put some water on me after a few words. I fired up and met him at the ramp and showed him the error of his ways. I just don't like folks being disrespectful. There's no reason for that type of behavior.

And sugar in a fuel tank? Get caught doing that and that will land you in jail or dead. Let the law handle the enforcement. Times have changed and this vigilante justice will do nothing but make you just as guilty. Anyone can file a suit for just about anything now days.

You said you figured out who it was? Should be a simple Google search. I have zero sympathy for guides acting an azz and profiting on public land.

If you know who he is, why don't you call and confront him about it! Maybe talk it out etc, no need in getting violent or messing someone's stuff up, maybe he was helping a guide , or something you never know

I don't thing they need to be banned but they do need to not exceed a certain DB level.
I used to be involved in cart racing when my son was younger. We had to meet certain DB levels at some tracks. I ran an RLV Silencer on his cart which basically brought the noise level back to around stock muffler levels. They make these to fit all of the V-Twin header tube sizes as well and it has zero effect on horse power..........

Originally they weren't banned on the northern coast Refuges, but the HP was very limited. The HP was/is also limited for outboards; and now I hear that the prop size is limited also.

I won't say his name, although he's no longer there, but one of the biologists at JD Murphree came within inches of running over me in his airboat before shooting time early one morning several years ago. He shut the engine down at the last moment, before gliding past me ... turned and said that he learned a valuable lesson that morning, before cranking back up and leaving. Needless to say, I pretty much had to clean my pants afterward. The guy really was/is a nice guy ... he just did a very foolish thing.

The satisfaction of knowing we killed 5 limits by out group this weekend and he got skunked on morning and afternoon trips both days is good enough for me.

In my experience, if a GW wrote a ticket I would look up to make sure a meteor wasn't about to hit us. I feel bad for them almost. There aren't enough of them, too much land to cover on no budget. I know all 3 in my county pretty well and unless you have something that would make the paper and news, they don't seem to care.

I love when people get online to tell someone something. Though the person will likely never read it. Pretty tall

Dear girl that turned me down in hs. I hate you.

I know two of our three pretty well. Haven't met the new guy yet. These guys are top notch.

I really like mine too, really good guys. I've been told on multiple occasions that they are on other calls, or have another situation to deal with. And some of the things we've reported would be pretty rough to beat! A la 4 wheeler to the blind on corps land shooting 10 minutes early with a high power rifle in the blind "in case he saw a deer". He got to "my spot" before me one morning and asked if I wanted to hunt with him, I was like umm nooo im good bolt

Yeah, they are spread pretty thin. Sometimes the response time doesn't/can't work out especially with early/late shooters. My guys respond via text/call pdq and in person if/when they can. But sometimes you gotta take care of things yourself.
