Any one have experinced with fired brass sticking in the chamber with difficulty opening the bolt after being fired.
Caliber 338 Lapua Mag!

Did you size the brass, or is it factory ammo? Sounds like a headspace issue.

Full length resized brass, trim to 2.714, some is Hornady & some is SB brass. I know Hornady is A soft brass & that could be the problem with it. Not sure about the SB brass. Going to hone the chamber & throat.

Was it virgin brass? Have you measured the brass case head to should after firing, then measure afain after sizing? You may not be bumping the shoulders back and after firing the brass is jamming in the rifle. This is why I take great care to make sure I bump the shoulders .002" to .003" for every rifle. It makes for great shooting and reliable brass.

Sounds like a high pressure issue. How do the fired cases/primers look?
If it was a shoulder bump problem,the bolt should be harder to close when chambering the cartridge,in most cases.

No high pressure, no case head separation. No bulged primers!! 250gr Hornady BTHP with 103gr US869 powder.
