There's a guy in Hudson Oaks named Hal Baker. I've used him on my last couple but it's been a couple of years. I'm not sure if he is still doing it, but it's worth a call. He's a really good guy. I think he was around $35.

And absolutely no offense intended towards bigbob, but Elk Castle is the absolute last place on earth that I would go.

I have been in there many times. Bought a shotgun there and several other things over the years. I'm pretty sure that I've never left that place without someone being rude or condescending. I know a couple other guys that have had the same experience in there. It's pretty difficult to hire an entire team of people that all treat their customers the same way by nature, so I'll put it on the management. The only reason that I returned as often as I did was convenience. Now there are other options on our side of town.

I was gonna say they were rude to me during my only visit there. Now I will chime in. Don't know what those guys think they are, but they sure ain't reloaders.

If you want more of a gun shop to handle it give Lone Star Gun Gallery in Weatherford a call.

I would do business with Cheaper than Dirt before I would with Elk Castle.

Bargain Hunter Outdoors in Weatherford are good people but brick and mortar stores almost always charge more for transfers than individuals. I used Blake numerous times before I moved and he is good people.

I wouldn't do transfers there. Their FFL transfer fees are $65-$75. There are more reasonably priced options for a transfer.

I've used Hal Baker in Hudson Oaks before. Nice guy. I've also used Weatherford Pawn on Fort Worth highway just West of Hudson Oaks several times. I think they charge $35. Nice guys.

How about my guy in North Fort Worth? Ten bucks if you hold a CHL, which is now called a LTC.

If you want to go to south, (Burleson/Joshua Area), I have used Off Duty Armory. Jim is a THF'er and awesome guy, and so is the rest of the staff.
