All you gotta do is google Western Powders, Alliant Powders, and Hodgdon Powders and you'll find links to to all kinds of data. If you want pet load suggestions, then at the very least you gotta help us out by being specific with a few bullet choices.

What barrel length? Twist rate? Bullet?
Are you looking for cheap or precision?
May need to move to the reloading section

Why that weight range? Mine really likes 165gr Sierra HPBTs over some IMR 4895.

I will be more clear, its a 30-06 AR platform, if I can find a load for 120gr, I would like to shoot that, but will figure out what weight bullet it likes best.

So it was moved to the reloading section Gas guns have the same load. But you will lose some fps due to the gas system Grab a manual and start under your max is work your way up. I don't think there are a lot of 30-06 ars out there. What is your barrel Length? That will impact powder choice

4064 and 150 grain bullets have a been a classic load for Garands. Not sure why another gas platform wouldn't respond similarly. Make sure the type of manufacturer of powder is the data you use. You CANNOT use H4064 for IMR 4064 data for example. Why would you load such light bullets? 165, 168, and 177 grain bullets would be better.
My 30-06 likes IMR 4350 or Accurate 4350 behind a 165 grain bullet.

I know the 120 is weird, thinking coyotes, mainly just wanted to ck & see how versatile the 30-06 can be. may have found a source..Lymans reload manual for ar rifles, should have it in a few days. I did see another post about the burn rates for ar's is different than bolt, that's why I asked the ?, AR mfg's are very specific that they are not responsible for mishaps when reloads are used. I appreciate the info..

There's no such thing as an AR burn rate vs. bolt burn rate. Powder is powder. It doesn't know what gun fires it. I'm really thinking you need to hold off on handloading until you learn more.

I'll have to try me some of that H4064 in my .220 Swift.
And yes, there ARE burn rate considerations in reloading for gas-operated semiautos. The slower powders will cause too much pressure in the gas system and batter the heck out of operating rods and other parts.
What rifle exactly are you talking about? As far as I know the AR10 handles .308-based cartridges. I know there have been some AR-type rifles offered in .30-06, but I do not believe they are called "AR10." What do you have?

I should have said 30-06 n ar "Noreen" platform, I was looking for another post that states the burn rate considerations, thank you for your input.
