I checked out a ATA Arms Venza 12 Gauge Semiautomatic Shotgun at Academy this afternoon . Just holding it and trying it out for fitting it was a sweet gun . I found on the web it's Turkish made and reasonable price at $599.99 . Length of pull and the Drop was very nice and aiming was very easy . It's an Semi-Auto , ejects on the bottom like a Browning BPS does and has a 3" chamber . Anyone here have one or has shot one or checked it out also ? If so you have any input on it ??

It does not eject out the bottom... the bolt moves back and it ejects from the side.

You had a list of good, well known and proven shotguns in your price range. Why would you take a chance with your money on some unknown? Nothing about it on shotgunworld.com... I would pass.

I was just checking it out, not adding it to my list. Actually I have even narrowed down to the Beretta, Browning and Stoeger , mainly the first two.

The reciprocating barrel design reminds me of the old Browning A5. But still too many known good guns available for me to chance it on that unknown. Now, if it was backed by a name like Beretta, Browning, or Benelli, thn it might be a little different.

I understand and I'm with you . Just it looked like a very nice gun , handled well , fit well and not over weight . Seems like it could become a very good gun in the future . Turkish made but anything I could find on the web about it is in Turkish language except the main page about the gun . I'd like to see some example videos in English where I could understand what they were talking about .
