Did anyone decide to brave the weather and hunt this weekend?

I'm probably gonna go out around 3:00 this afternoon. Weather forecast looks like it may let up for a little bit.

I wanted to hunt so bad but was afraid our creek was up and stayed at home, I am bumming out.

My hunting spot is across a river and I don't think I would make it across.

I did not hunt yesterday but was at the lease filling feeders. The deer were moving well....maybe they sense a big change in weather.

Been out here about 20 mins. Later than I wanted to get here but it was raining pretty good before. Now just a light mist.

I'm hoping today will be a good one.

Why did I think hunting from the tree stand would be a better idea than hunting from the blind

Been sitting in the trailer since last night and gotten almost 5" since I pulled into the gate. Saw some moving about an hour ago in the light rain.

I'm in the same boat as a few of y'all. Our lease is in Anahuac (wet most of the time already). So I didn't feel like just muddling to get to a stand.
Ryan, how'd your afternoon turn out?

Hunter a couple hours this morning. Saw 2 dogs. My dad had a doe and nubbin buck at 10 yards and wouldn't shoot. Probably for the best since the rain came down hard right after they left.

Did nothing but soak up the rain yesterday evening. Had better luck today though!
