East of 35 the land is flat and flood prone. I don't blame you for being cautious. After the flooding earlier in the year I'd be gun shy too. I've seen the Guadalupe turn wicked after a good rain.

The shitty weather can sometimes make it more fun. Shooting a big buck isn't the only fun you can have. Getting stuck in the mud, starting a warm fire in with your rain-soaked clothes, changing into your dry back-up pair of underwear, eating that warm fajita taco or bowl of chili. Shoot, that's what it's all about.

If you want some friendly advice, get a haircut and take a bath. You wouldn't get hassled so much.

I'd go and just keep an eye on the weather up-stream.

It was postponed. Y'all wanted me to be miserable. They have that area marked for 10 to 15 inches possible now. I was seriously more worried about driving on I-35 just to get there and back. Hopefully I will enjoy a big Tech win tomorrow. grin
